Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group at 5th International Cereal and Bread Congress

Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group (TFYI) participated in 5th International Cereal and Bread Congress held between 18-21 April 2016 in İstanbul at Harbiye Military Museum and Cultural Center under the partnership of International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) and Hacettepe University.

Around 500 persons carrying out research and studies in the fields of cereals, bread and bread making attended the Congress held in Turkey for the first time. Storage, marketing and development of innovative cereal products, exploiting new raw materials/ingredients and new technologies, and alternative uses of cereals were the topics of discussion of the Congress.

Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group sponsored the back-packs distributed to the attendees of the Congress and also organized the sand animation performances of sand artist Veysel Çelikdemir after the opening session of the Congress on 19 April 2016 and on 20 April 2016.
