Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group at “Fi Europe & Ni 2015” Exhibition

FI Europe & NI 2015 Exhibition organized at Paris Nord Villepinte fair area in Paris, France between 1-3 December 2015 was attended by more than 1,400 firms from many countries and a great number of visitors.

Visitors showed intense interest in the exhibition which is one of the world’s major food exhibitions and which is an important opportunity for contact with African market which occupies a significant place in Turkey’s flour exports.

Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group (UTG) participated in the exhibition for the first time, promoting particularly flour, yeast, starch and other export products included in its field of activity, as well as Turkey’s export potential for the said products. UTG Chairman Mr. Turgay ÜNLÜ, UTG Vice Chairman Mr. Nurettin DEMİRPOLAT and UTG Directors Mr. Adnan HEKİMOĞLU and Mr. Uğur ÇERÇİ attended the exhibition where our info stand was visited by Chief Commercial Counsellor to Paris Ms. Müge VAROL ILICAK as well.

Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group furnished visitors with cookbooks in French and English, containing recipes of sweet and salty bakery products, catalogues introducing the sector, as well as kitchen aprons, bags and baker’s sets carrying the name and logo of the Promotion Group.

Sand artist Veysel Çelikdemir's sand animation performances using flour and sand attracted great interest. At UTG stand, Chef Cook Emin Aydemir prepared and served such bakery products as “kurabiye”, “börek”, “simit”, “poğaça”, etc. to the visitors, showing off his art.
