The Wofex 2012 World Food Expo has been organized between the dates of 1st and 4th of August 2012 in Manila World Trade Center. Turkey has participated the fair with national organization. 10 companies and 2 promotion groups have participated the fair with 22 representatives. Turkish Wheat Flour Promotion Group and Turkish Confectionery and Sweet Promotion Group has had their own info stands during the fair. For the first time this year  tea, confectionery and sweet products have also been exhibited in the show.

On the 31st of July 2012 a reception held in the honour of Wofex Delegation by Turkish Embassy of Manila. 85 representatives involving the members Philipinnes Bakery and Industry Group, The Philipinnes- China Bakery Association,  Philipinnes Hotel Restaurant Association, distinguished companies and Chairmans of Philipinnes Turkish Trade Chambers have attended the reception. Mrs. Rowena DOMINGO  wife of Minister of Trade and Industry of Philipinnes also attended the reception. She visited Turkish Pavillion at  2nd of August 2012 to meet  with Turkish exporting company representatives.

A trade mission for the companies outside Manila has also been organized for the first time this year.Six companies out of Manila have negotiated with Turkish Companies during the mission.Chairman and deputy chairman of the SHOEMART(SM) Company which consists of 50 supermarkets, 33 hypermarkets, 39 shopping malls and possess 50% of Philippines retail sail have also attended the reception held in the Turkish Embassy. Afterwards they have visited the Turkish Pavillion and negotiated with Turkish companies
